The kit’s gun mic has a plastic shock mount which is designed to reduce camera handling sounds from spoiling your audio recording. SmallRig’s iPhone cage has a collection of built-in cold shoe mounts that you can use to attach the kit’s supplied gun mic to your iPhone (as well as a shoe-mountable LED lamp).
